3D mokymai moksleiviams

3D printing, modeling and scanning training for beginners – a quick and comprehensive introduction to 3D technologies.

In just a few sessions, you will understand the basics of 3D printing and apply your knowledge in practice.

In the open training you will learn:

  • how to create 3D models according to the capabilities of the printer
  • how to choose a 3D printer according to your needs
  • how to work with slicer programs and export G-code
  • how to prepare and maintain the printer
  • how to choose the right materials
  • how to diagnose faults and replace worn parts

After completing the training, you will be able to choose the most suitable type of printer according to your needs, distinguish between various materials used in the process, learn how to start the 3D printing process and solve the most common problems.

The training also demonstrates the practical use of a 3D scanner,

All participants can keep their printed designs for themselves.

The training is useful for:

  • Specialists who want to apply the capabilities of 3D printing in their field.
  • Companies and individuals considering the purchase of 3D printers.
  • Educators looking for training resources and practical advice.
  • Startups and product developers looking for rapid prototyping opportunities.

Lecture schedules are published in the registration form. The courses are done in Lithuanian, unless an international group is formed. If you would like to join a course in English, send us an email so we may add you to the list.

Frequently asked questions (F.A.Q.)

How to pick the right 3D printer?

Before buying a 3D printer, it is important to answer what you will print – what size products will be, what materials will be needed most, and for what purpose you will print. Then you can compare different models of equipment and find the best price-quality ratio. Our 3D course will serve you perfectly – you will be able to try printers of different formats and choose the most suitable one.

Why is it worth to learn about 3D printing?

3D printing gives you the ability to make anything from the comfort of your own home – a spare part, a tool or a gift. Modeling develops spatial thinking and problem solving, and creates the opportunity to create your own unique products. Our courses combine all the basic information into specific practical exercises, during which you will learn to create much faster than if you were to learn on your own.

What can you make during the 3D printing courses?

The objects to be produced are selected according to the training program and the needs of the participants. In the introductory workshop, we produce various, small-format 3D models – pendants, holders, decorations. Participants create a 3D model according to their capabilities and pace. We also test the operation of 3D scanning technology during the training.
